The patented PREG-TONE uses high-frequency sound waves called ultrasound to detect the presence of amniotic fluid during pregnancy. When this fluid is detected, the instrument produces a continuous loud tone. When used on an animal that is not pregnant, the instrument produces an intermittent recurring tone.
The user can now select the animal to be tested.
